Rory Peck Training Bursaries are for freelancers who work internationally. To qualify you will need to have worked as a freelancer in newsgathering and/or current affairs for a minimum of 18 months. The number of bursaries are limited and priority is given to freelancers whose work habitually takes them into hostile environments, and to those with a forthcoming confirmed assignment.
Frontline Freelance Register (FFR) is run by freelancers, for freelancers. FFR is open to actively working, international freelance foreign and conflict journalists who take physical risks in their work, and adhere to the Code of Conduct. We aim to provide members with representation and a sense of community, vital in this fragmented profession.
Dart Center provides journalists training on safe and ethical newsgathering.
